The Solution to Spaz’s Saddling Sensitivity

February 20, 2020 8:12:32 PM MST / by Amber Foote

My horse Spaz is an athletic, beautiful horse. He’s affectionate and very respectful, and while he doesn’t trust random people, he’ll let me do nearly anything I need to.

Saddling, however, was an issue for both of us. Spaz became very sensitive to his cinch, and whenever he was saddled, he’d freeze up and run backwards.

His behavior was both frustrating and heartbreaking. I knew my horse wasn’t being ill-mannered, but actually had a medical problem that needed to be solved.

At the recommendation of my vet, I started Spaz on Redmond Daily Gold to treat ulcers. After two months on the product, he was no longer cinchy and became much more relaxed when saddling.

I recommend Daily Gold for several reasons. The ease of being able to give it in Spaz’s feed is easy. The cost doesn’t break the bank. And most importantly, I’ve tried many different avenues to solve my horse’s ulcers, and Daily Gold has by far exceeded the results of other medications on a long-term basis.

Both my horse’s life and mine have become much easier now. I feel confident Spaz is more comfortable than he’s been in the past. Daily Gold has solved his sensitivity to saddling and made our day-to -day activities a breeze.
